What’s Happenin’ !!!   2008 Late Registrations.  Please visit the Officers & Board of Directors page & contact Coach Ken.  BOUNDARY QUESTIONS !!!!!!  There appears to be some confusion out there, as far as the boundary restictions that apply to the West Side Falcons.  So, we decided to clear the air.  The only limitation is that the child reside within the Scranton School District.  This means that ALL children in West, North, Central, East and South Scranton can participate in the West Side Falcons Youth Organization! REGISTRATION DOCS are now available to print and fill out from your own home.  Go HERE!   CHEERLEADING NOTICE:  At present, the Falcons have a few remaining positions open on the Cheerleading Management team: Team Mom's and Assistant Instructors.  Applications need to be completed and given to any Board Member or emailed to info80@wsfalcons.com. The application period has been extended to no later than Monday, August 4th.  Interested individuals can find the application HERE. You will need Adobe Reader to view the file.  If you do not have the reader, you can download it for free via Adobe Reader **  Thanks to all who showed up for the Falcons Work Party on Sunday!!  ** We had a decent turnout and got quite a bit done, but there is still some more to do, so watch this space for the next one! NAJFL League Meeting, Thursday, August 14, 6:30 p.m., at the Ben-Mar, Carbondale.  Football & Cheer rep attendance is required.  20 copies of roster and directions to field also required!   CHEERLEADING NOTICE:  Specific guidelines for Cheerleaders/Coaches/Team Mom's/Advisors have been established.  We ask that Parents/Guardians of all Cheerleaders read these guidelines and take the time to review them with your child, as the information in these packets is critical.  Again, we cannot stress the importance of these documents, as they will directly affect each and every Cheerleader   The West Side Falcons Cheerleaders will participate in the 2008 NAJFL Cheerleading Competition on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at North Scranton.  In the event of rain, the event will be held at the Lackawanna College Athletic Center (former 'CYC').  More information to follow. Rumors Any assaults against our organization and, more specifically, our children, will NOT be tolerated.  Any individual spreading false rumors, that are detrimental to the organization, will be expelled immediately.
